New World School of the Arts college class of 2021 prepares to take to the to accept their BFA / BM degree from the hands of their Provost and arts division Dean, in person! The ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 27; 2 PM, at the Perez Art Museum Miami on the East Portico, an outdoor shaded plaza with stunning views of Biscayne Bay. This year’s keynote speaker is the President of Miami Dade College, Madeline Pumariega, the first female president to lead the institution. Due to Covid-19 MDC Phase 2 safety protocols, attendance will be limited to the graduating student and one guest, however, family, friends, and supporters will be able to join the celebration virtually, as the complete commencement ceremony will be live-streamed on the New World School of the Arts website.
