New World Opera Theatre Ensemble presents a classic and widely performed holiday time opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti. Commissioned in 1951, it was the first opera composed for TV, about a young disabled boy's encounter with the Three Kings bearing gifts while on their journey, and the blessings bestowed that cure him.
